Hadn;t been for awhile, but not much has changed. Went out after 4:00 pm so played for the twilight rate. Don't know the regular rate. Tee to green, everything was very nice. Still no Geezeer tees, but they do have a score card showing Geezer tee distances. Most were about 10 yards shorter than the white tees. Easy to play the correct distance. Only complaint was the speed of the greens. First, slow. Especially since they are bent grass greens. 2nd, inconsistant. Most of the greens were slow, but next thing you know you would be on one that was much, much faster than the last 2 or 3 you had just played. Best of all, was the pace of play. My son likes to hit drives until he finally gets one he likes and he was able to do than any time he wanted to and no one bothered us. Anyway, it was a nice fathers day gift from him.

Not much has changed since last time I rated this course. Fun course. Long drives are rewarded. Only a few of the fairwys are hard to miss. The bunkers are exactly they were last time. I hit them before and I hit them today. Kind of wish they would move them next time. Sand was hard and packed. However this helped if you were in a fairway bunker. And I was in a bunch of bunkers
The greens were pretty fast. Even the slightest putt would send the ball 4 feet past the hole.
If you ever need extra balls, make a trip into the woods on the first hole on the right. My son found 15 balls in there addition to his in less than 5 minutes.
Good golf course. One bummer though, no gizzer tees.

This is a nice course. Very wide fairways which makes for good scoring. The greens and the fairways were nice and green. There were some limbs and trees still down from recent storms, but did not interfere with the game. The traps could have been better. They had not been raked and fluffed since the storm, so they were hard packed sand.
We played the super-saver sunday special ($29 w/cart) which begins at 5:00 p.m. There was plenty of sun light to get the whole 18 in without much trouble so long as you are in a group of only two. Once you get more than that you will have a hard time finishing by dark.
The course runs from 6,000 yards for the whites and 6,700 for the championships. When we were on the 10th hole the marshall came by and told us we had to finish by 8:30. Thought that was a little unfair. Should have told us when we paid. But we played out the 18 even though we didn't finish until 8:45. One of three some left after 15 holes. If he had played with us we would not have finished before dark.
But very good course. Played easier than usual 6,000 yard course. Also, My GPS Golf Buddy was a little inaccurate on the course. Don't know what caused. On at least 3 holes it was 20 yards off on distance.
Oh, normal Sunday price is $40.00.

Extraordinary value for the money. Played 18 in 3.5 hours - unheard of this close to the city. Didn't try the bar facilities or talk much to the pro shop guys, but everyone seemed friendly enough.

Course has a great layout and a challange. The fairways were on the bare side and the only real con. A good value when you can play this course at discount.

Played yesterday with my sons. Had a great time. The course is in good condition, but the greens are getting a little worn. However they are still fast. If you have never played there, dont come to walk. there are a lot of hills. Also if you are a senior, be prepared to play the white tees and not the geezer tees. The geezer tees are shorter than the ladies tees. It would be like playing a n executive course. The white tees make for a 6200 yard course but most of the par 4's are in the 330 to 385 yard range. So it is playable for us seniors. The front nine definitely takes longer than the back nine to play. A couple of the holes are a bit quirky. Especially# 8. It is a par 3. It is uphill and is surrounded by 3 bunkers in the front of the green and one behind the hole. Your shot needs to be very high to find and stay on the green. It is an advantage to play with someone who has played there before to tell you where to hit your drive because some of the dog legs can fool you.
